ParTec Cluster Competence Centre GmbH is specialised in the development and support of a comprehensive suite of Cluster management tools and a runtime environment specifically tuned for the largest distributed memory supercomputers in existence today and beyond. ParTec's unrivaled expertise in developing Cluster software includes a self-developed ParaStation MPI and tools like TicketSuite and HealthChecker. In conjunction with professional services, consultancy and support, ParTec was elected as the partner of choice in some of the leading HPC sites across Europe. For more than a decade, ParTec has been
a strong general purpose Cluster specialist in the German and EMEA HPC market. It is privately owned and has its head quarter in Munich,Germany with branch offices in Karlsruhe, Mannheim and Jülich.

System integration in HPC is one of the main business fields ParTec is working in. Amongst others, ParTec is responsible for the first and second level support at the whole heterogeneous cluster "JuRoPA 2" in Jülich Supercomputing Centre. As one of Germany's largest HPC sites it has been number 10 in the Top500 list when brought into service.

ParTec's aim is not only to use but also to create state-of-the art solutions.

Thus ParTec contributes to the EU funded Exascale projects DEEP and DEEP-ER, which work at the development of Exascale systems. Furthermore, ParTec's project experience includes projects as eeClust and ISAR, both funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

Together with Forschungszentrum Jülich and Intel GmbH, ParTec has founded the ExaCluster Laboratory (ECL), which works at researching the future of cluster computing and especially at designing the generic HPC
architecture at the road to the Exascale era.

ParTec is a member of major European and worldwide research consortia (e.g. PROSPECT e.V., EOFS, exascale10, and ETP4HPC) and contributes to the development of JUROPA 3, the next Petaflop architecture of supercomputers, and beyond, towards Exascale computing.
